On November 14, 2018, a meeting devoted to Dietary Supplements – Healthy Meetup of the Shape U Up Project took place in the UMED Information and Library Center. The meeting, which was attended by over 70 young people – students of Lodz universities and high school students from Lodz – was organized by the Family Medicine Department. During the meeting, current state of knowledge in the field of dietary supplements, conditions for their registration, as well as initial results of the study on their safety, conducted in the Family Medicine Department were presented. The youth participating in the meeting prepared 9 actions projects that may increase the safety of supplements. The authors of the best projects received prizes.
