On March 10-11, 2021, an international scientific meeting was held to kick off the work of the HORIZON 2020 ODIN Project in which the Department of Family Medicine together with the Medication Adherence Research Center represent the Medical University of Lodz.

Covid-19 revealed several gaps in healthcare systems and care provision. ODIN will face these critical challenges, empowering healthcare professionals with artificial intelligence (AI), cybernetics and bionics, introducing autonomous and collaborative robots and enhancing medical locations with Internet of Things (IoT).

ODIN vision is that as Evidence Based Medicine revolutionized medicine with data-driven procedures, so data-driven management (enabled by Industry 4.0 tech) can revolutionize healthcare management.
