Non-adherence to medication remains one of the more serious problems plaguing healthcare systems. The Covid-19 pandemic, present for more than two years now, has exacerbated the problem. Therefore, the prestigious journal Frontiers in Pharmacology (Impact Factor 5.810) invited a group of European experts, headed by Prof. Przemysław Kardas, to edit a special issue devoted to this subject.
